If you have made edits but your live site still shows the old version, work through these in order.
1. Did your site used to work and then stop?
If your site was live and later went offline - especially if it lines up with a subscription ending, or it works some months and not others - this is an account problem, not a publishing problem. See Reactivate a lapsed account and restore your site before trying anything else here.
2. Publish the site
Edits in the editor are saved as a draft. They do not appear on your live site until you choose Update Live Site, or Publish Site if the site has never been published.
3. Check that the page is enabled
A page that is disabled will not show up even after publishing. Open the Pages panel in the left-hand toolbar and make sure the page is toggled on. See Manage and reorder pages.
4. Clear your browser cache
Your browser may be showing you a stored copy of your site. Load your site in a private or incognito window to see what visitors actually see.
5. Your live site looks different from the editor
If your live site shows a different theme or styling than the editor, the difference is unpublished style changes rather than a publishing failure. Publishing applies the theme and styling you are currently editing.
If you would rather keep what is already live, you can revert the editor to the last published version instead of publishing. This restores style customizations only, not content. See Restore your site styles to the last published version.
6. If the publish button spins or fails
Try again in a different browser with extensions disabled. If it still fails, contact us using the link below and describe exactly what you see.
If you still need help, contact Portfolio Support. Include your Portfolio address (yourname.myportfolio.com) and the email address you use to sign in to Adobe.
