Already have Creative Cloud? Adobe Portfolio is included with most Creative Cloud plans at no extra cost. Before creating a new account, sign in at portfolio.adobe.com using your existing Adobe ID.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- An Adobe ID
This is the email address you use for Adobe products. If you do not already have one, you can create one for free. - A supported browser
Use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge. - Your Creative Cloud plan details
Not sure which plan you have? Check your account at account.adobe.com.
Path 1: You already have a Creative Cloud subscription
You do not need to create a separate Portfolio account. Portfolio is automatically available when you sign in with your Creative Cloud Adobe ID.
- Go to portfolio.adobe.com.
- Click Sign in.
- Enter the Adobe ID and password associated with your Creative Cloud subscription.
- If prompted, choose your personal or organization account.
- After signing in, you’ll be taken directly to the Portfolio editor.
Avoid duplicate accounts
A common issue happens when users accidentally create a second Adobe account using a different email address. This can prevent Creative Cloud benefits from appearing in Portfolio.
Always sign in with the same Adobe ID associated with your Creative Cloud subscription. You can confirm which email is associated with your plan at account.adobe.com under Plans.
Path 2: You’re new to Adobe
If you do not already have an Adobe account, you can create a free Adobe ID.
You can build and edit a Portfolio site without a Creative Cloud subscription, but publishing your site requires an eligible Creative Cloud plan.
- Go to portfolio.adobe.com and click Get started.
- Select a theme (you can change this later)
- Enter your name, email address, and password, or continue with Google or Apple.
- Check your inbox for a verification email from Adobe and click the confirmation link.
- After verifying your email, you can start building your Portfolio site.
When you’re ready to publish your site, click Publish Site. You’ll be prompted to purchase or upgrade to a qualifying Creative Cloud plan.

Upgrading to Creative Cloud later?
If you purchase Creative Cloud later, sign in to Portfolio using the same Adobe ID you originally created. Your Portfolio access will update automatically.
