A favicon appears in the browser tab; a web clip icon appears when a visitor saves your site to a mobile home screen. Both are set in Settings and both apply when you next publish.
Add a favicon
A favicon is what appears in the tab of web browsers. Your site will show the Pf logo by default but you can upload your own favicon. Your favicon must be square and no smaller than 32x32 pixels.
Note: your favicon might not appear in all browsers immediately. You may need to clear your browser cache.
To add a Favicon:
- Click into Settings in the left-hand panel
- Click into Favicon
- For the Favicon to appear on your live site, please hit Publish/Update Live Site.
Note: if your favicon isn't updating on your live site, try clearing your browser cache.
Add a web clip icon
Visitors can save a quick link to your site to their mobile home screens. You can provide a custom icon to appear on their devices, as if it were an app. Your web clip must be square, have 90° corners (rounded corners are added by the mobile device), and be no smaller than 180x180 pixels.
Note: changes in Settings will be applied when publishing or updating your live site.
