Every site starts with a text Site Title. You can keep and style that text, or replace it with an uploaded logo image — this guide covers both, and where to find the settings in your theme.
Where logo settings live in your theme
Most themes keep logo options in Navigation, or in a dedicated Logo panel in the left-hand toolbar. Two themes work differently:
- Lina and Mercedes keep the logo inside the Header module. Customize it there rather than in a standalone panel.
Where the logo can sit also depends on your theme:
| Logo position | Themes |
|---|---|
| Centered within Navigation | Marta, Lukas, Andreas, Marina, Hegen, Ludwig |
| Above Navigation, left or right | Sawdust, Matthias, Rose |
| Top, left | Lina |
| Top, left or right | Thomas |
| Top, or centered above Navigation | Mercedes |
If a logo option you expected is missing, it is usually because you switched to a theme that does not offer it. Switching back restores the option.
Upload a logo
Uploading a logo replaces the text Site Title on your site.
Depending on your theme, logo options will either display within your Navigation settings or will be its own setting in the left-hand toolbar.
- Click into Navigation or Logo in the left-hand toolbar or
- Hover over the Logo > click the pencil icon
- Click into the Image tab
- Click Upload image under the Normal tab
- Upload a Rollover image if you wish to have a different rollover state

Use a text Site Title instead
The Site name / logo panel has a Text / Image switch, and that switch is what decides which one your site shows. Choose Text to show a styled text title, or Image to show an uploaded logo — a site shows one or the other, never both.
To edit and style the text title, open the Text tab:
- Text — the words shown as your Site Title.
- Font, size and line height.
- Align — left, centered or right.
- Color and Style (weight), each set separately for the Normal and Rollover states.
- Link To — the page your title links to.
You can also reach these settings by hovering the Site Title and clicking the pencil icon.
Change or remove a logo
Once a logo is uploaded, the Image tab shows a preview of it with three links underneath:
- Replace — swap in a different image, keeping your other settings.
- Remove — clear the logo image. Your site falls back to the text Site Title set in the Text tab.
- Reset — undo the cropping and zoom adjustments described below and return the image to how it was uploaded.
Note: the panel warns that you are editing global styles for all pages. Logo and Site Title changes apply site-wide, not to a single page.
Crop, zoom and size your logo
In the image preview you can adjust how the logo sits in its frame:
- Drag the image to reposition it, or drag the corner handles to crop it.
- Use the zoom slider beneath the preview to scale the image in or out.
- Reset returns the image to its original framing.
The rest of the Image tab controls how the logo is presented:
- Max-Width — caps the logo's width in pixels.
- Align — left, centered or right.
- Responsive — set a separate Height, and upload a different image, for smaller screens.
- Rollover — an optional second image shown when a visitor hovers the logo.
- Alt Text — describes the logo for screen readers and search engines. Worth filling in.
- Link To — the page the logo links to.
Use Margins at the top of the panel to adjust the spacing around the logo or title.
