Overview of customizations

When you initially build your site, you will have your chosen theme's default customizations set. Customizations are categorized in the left-hand panel as:

• Site-Wide: customizations that will appear on every page
• This Page/This Collection: customizations will be applied to the page you are on 
• All Pages/All Collections: customizations will be applied to all pages/all Collections

To further narrow down your customizations: 

1. Click into the area (noted by a carrot dropdown icon) 
2. Further click into the element you wish to style 
3. Use the carrot icon to switch in between elements

Site-Wide Customizations

Site-wide customizations appear on every page, some of these customizations can be changed on a page by page basis. Elements include: 

• Background, Colors & Font
• Website Container
• Logo 
• Navigation
• Footer

This Page/This Collection

Local customizations are page-specific customizations that can be applied on the Default Page or Collection you are on. Depending on the page you are on, you will either see This Page or This Collection. Elements include: 

This Page

• Page Background
• Page Container
• Use Global Styles
• Masthead
• Page Header
• More in this Collection
• Back to Top

This Collection

• Page Covers
• Collection Background
• Use Global Page Styles
• Masthead
• Back to Top

Note: if you make local (page-specific) customizations and later make global customizations, local customizations will not be overridden. You will need to use the Use Global Styles option under This Page/This Collection.

All Pages/All Collections

Global customizations are customizations that will be applied to either All Pages and/or Collections. This is helpful if you wish to keep customizations consistent across the Collections and Default Pages. Elements include:

• Media Content Styles
