Migrating Adobe Portfolio accounts | Overview – Adobe Portfolio Knowledgebase & FAQ

You may have multiple Adobe accounts and want to move your site(s) built under one account to another. Whether this can be done depends whether your accounts are personal or Enterprise accounts.

Personal Adobe ID ⇄ Company/Enterprise ID	❌	Not allowed.
Company/EnterpriseID ⇄ Company/Enterprise ID (different organization)	❌	Not allowed.
Enterprise ⇄ Enterprise ID (same organization)	✔️	Please contact us for help. Note: can only be done within the same organization.
School account → Personal account	✔️	How to migrate a School (EDU) Portfolio account to a Personal account Note: This cannot be done if the account is already closed.
Personal account → School account	❌	Not allowed. You can keep your site on your Personal account or re-create your site on the new School account. Note: Please remember to migrate your Portfolio back to a Personal Adobe ID before the account is closed. We cannot help recover your Portfolio
Business Profile → Personal Profile	✔️	We will automatically migrate your Portfolio to its authenticating Personal Adobe ID when the Business Profile is closed. Learn more here: Migrate a Portfolio account from a Business Profile to a Personal Profile Note: This will only work if the linked / authenticating account is a Personal Adobe ID and the Business Profile is still active.
Personal Profile → Business Profile	❌	Not allowed. The account cannot be migrated by Portfolio support but the administrator may initiate or reinitiate an asset migration. Transfer assets across accounts and profiles Reinitiate asset migration to move users' assets to a business profile Note: If your account admin removes you as a user, then all assets under the Business Profile are deleted.

You will be transferring the sites from the original account to the destination account.
You will be able to keep a maximum of 5 sites. If both accounts have more than 5 cumulative sites, please delete sites in order to meet the maximum limit.
