A migration moves your Portfolio account, and every site on it, from one Adobe profile to another - usually so it sits on the profile that holds your active plan. Individual sites are not moved on their own. Here is what to expect. To start one, see Migrate your account - overview.
What is preserved
- All pages, projects, images, and text
- Your theme and all of its customizations
- Your Portfolio address (yourname.myportfolio.com)
- Your custom domain settings
What you need to do afterwards
A migrated site is not always live again straight away, so check it and publish if you need to.
- Sign in with the profile your account was moved to.
- Open your site in the editor.
- If the site is not live, choose Update Live Site, or Publish Site if the site has never been published before.
What may need reconnecting
Connections to other Adobe services can be interrupted by a move. After migrating, check that these still work and reconnect them if needed:
- Lightroom album sync
- Behance project import
Your custom domain
Your domain settings move with the site, and your DNS records at your registrar are not affected. If your domain does not come back after you publish, see My custom domain and myportfolio.com are both down.
