A domain name is the URL or web address where visitors find your site. Every Portfolio user has a unique URL (username.myportfolio.com). However, you can change this address up to five (5) times.
Your old address does not redirect. When you change your subdomain, the previous username.myportfolio.com address stops working and does not forward to the new one. Any links, bookmarks, or social profiles pointing at the old address will break, so update them after you change it.
To change your myportfolio.com address:
- Click Settings.
- Click Domain Name.
- Enter your new address under Site subdomain.
- Click Apply.
