Masthead is a flexible, fullscreen feature area that you can add to your website, on any gallery, project, or page. You can customize your Masthead in dozens of ways, from the design itself (images, colors and styles) to text, buttons, social icons, layout, and more.
To get started, toggle the "Masthead" option on your remote to "on." Click "masthead background" to upload an image, or select a color and styles, for your masthead background. Use the other styling options to add up to two buttons, a title and additional text, a handy scroll down arrow, and social profiles. Buttons can be useful Calls to Action--for example if you've been featured somewhere else online, you can create a button that will take your visitors to that site.
You can change the position of your Masthead to be above or beside the navigation or above or below your header (if applicable). You can also display different mastheads on different pages, the same masthead on all pages, or a mix of both.
Changing the Masthead Width and Text Container will help control line breaks and the like.
How should I use Masthead?
It's very flexible and it appears on all pages, so there are actually tons of uses. You can use Masthead in lieu of a welcome or landing page or even use it to post announcements. Certain large amounts of text can get unwieldy when viewed on mobile devices (for now) so we'd recommend keeping it brief.
